La preuve par l'image - Science exposed
“Seeing” science
In the course of their work, scientists produce a great multitude of images or pictures using specialized optics or digital modelling instruments.

First launched in 2010, La preuve par l’image (Science exposed) is a competition that is exclusively dedicated to imaging produced during the course of scientific research, regardless of the specific discipline.
Imaging provides an incredible learning and communication tool, which appeals all sectors of the public. Images may have an aesthetic, emotive or a didactic quality and can become an incredible gateway to research.
Since 2016, La preuve par l’image competition has been open to all Canadian researchers as part of the Science Odyssey event sponsored by Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).

The Journées internationales de la culture scientifique - Science and You will proudly host an exhibition of the imaging produced for this competition. ACFAS wishes to take full advantage of the Journées internationales de la culture scientifique – Science and You to create a digital and interactive exhibition of the imaging produced for the 2017 competition, in order to provide the public with the opportunity to discover, vote on and choose most beautiful images from science.
