During the Conference organized by Journées internationales de la Culture scientifique – Science and You, to be held on May 4, 5, and 6 2017 at McGill University, in Montreal, Montréal Science Centre and Espace pour la vie will be happy to invite science advocates from the cultural and business sectors to join them on a special guided tour. Note that the number of place is only 60!

The Montréal Science Centre is happy to invite you to a panel describing how it develops its exhibitions, school programs and other activities such as web games. Come and meet members of the development team, in a session that will give ample space to discussions with the participants.

*Participants will be granted free access to the regular exhibition halls on May 6th.

A discount at the Montréal Science Centre for JICS’ participants!
On presentation of your name tag, participants to the Journées internationales de la culture scientifique will be granted a 15% discount on the regular exhibitions’ price.

From the canopy of the tropical forest to the Courtyard of the senses of the Botanical Garden, from the passage beneath the star-studded skies to the discovery of the Insectarium in full metamorphosis, science is fostered at Space for Life through art, the experience of the senses and the emotions. Join us on this guided tour to share our sense of wonder and experience our nature.

2 p.m.:  Welcome at the André Bouchard Centre for Biodiversity, a showcase for research conducted by Space for Life; meeting place for all those who are passionate about better understanding and protecting biodiversity.

The special guided tour conducted by the science professionals of Space for Life:

Discover plants with eyes blindfolded in the Courtyard of the senses of the Botanical Garden
The digitally enhanced wonder of the Planetarium
Migration to a new Biodome, experienced from the heights of the canopy.
Come see, touch and taste the metamorphoses at the Insectarium.
