The "Hubert Curien Days" conference gives professionals in mediation and scientific, technical and industrial communication and culture (STIC) the opportunity to exchange. Open to researchers and practitioners alike, its aim is to discuss the ongoing and emerging issues of STI, by comparing perspectives provided by research and the exchange of experiences. Bringing together as many perspectives and practices as possible, it is open to professionals from all disciplines and backgrounds, and is bilingual (French/English).
In 2021, more than ever, the aim of the conference is to take a step back from professional practices and to think about them in terms of constantly improving and adapting to the context and to the public. The emergence of a crisis and emergency context (environmental, economic, political, public health, information) has generated a lack of public confidence in science and scientists. How can the link between science and citizens be restored and strengthened? What role do we have to play as mediators, whether we are researchers, scientific communicators, journalists, mediators or facilitators?
The conference is overseen by an international scientific committee made up of STIC researchers and practitioners.
