Now back in Lorraine, a part of out team was at the PCST Conference in Salvador (Brazil). A "marathon of science communication" of four days around a central theme, "science communication for social inclusion and political engagement", for the 507 PhD students and science communication operators that came from 49 different countries.
Some of the members of the Science & You committee - Martin W. Bauer, Hester du Plessis, Xuan Liu, Massimiano Bucchi and Michel Claessens - spoke in some of the PCST sessions. The Spanish troupe The Big Van Theory, co-founded by Helena González Burón, who took part in the Journées Hubert Curien in 2012, also performed at PCST.
