The Journées Internationales de la Culture Scientifique - Science & You took place on May 4, 5 and 6 2017 at University McGill, Montréal. Organized by Acfas - Association francophone pour le savoir, this large-scale event on science culture gathered various stakeholders in science communication, culture and entrepreneurship, policymakers and science-passionate professionals.
During these 3 days, numerous activities and personalities invited participants to exchange, discuss, gather information aabout and reflect on the use of digital technologies as tools to disseminate science and knowledge, to create science culture communities, and to bring closer remote populations so that they can seize this knowledge.
The programme of the JICS - Science & You went on like the following:

- 20 discussion panels (May 5)
- 4 training sessions (May 6)
Various activities addressed to the general public also punctuated the JICS: national finals of the Three-Minute Thesis, opening of the exhibition "La preuve par l'image", publishing of a special edition of the "Découvrir" magazine dedicated to science communication...
